From Yahoo
Apr 30 The Associated Press reports Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim SP Kevin Gregg will start Thursday, May 4, against the Detroit Tigers. Gregg starts in place of SP Kelvim Escobar (finger), who was knocked out of his start Saturday, April 29, because of a blood blister on his middle finger.

If he misses
one start I'm sending him a pacifier. I get blood blisters all the time and in a couple days I can't even remember what hand it was on.
Omaha, just wondering..........how do you get blood blisters ALL the time?

Reckless woodworking primarily. I need to wear gloves more often...

Yeah. And everyone who drafted him, myself included, should know that. However, this year i'm banking on him not hitting the 60-day DL. If he makes 20-25 starts and pitches the way he's capable of pitching, I'll be ecstatic.

Juggling: The tentative plan for Kelvim Escobar is to fold him back into his normal spot in the rotation on May 9 in Chicago, Scioscia said. Gregg will start Thursday in Detroit for Escobar, who is out with a blister on the middle finger of his right hand.

Would this be his 3d consecutive game vs. the White Sox if he comes back from the blister to face them?
Sheesh.
