came in w/ 2 outs in the ninth and 3-run lead, gave up a hit, then struck out a guy to end the game.
According to different websites, he either got it or didn't. According to yahoo, he didn't and it wasn't counted in the h2h stats. Does anyone have a better knowledge about this??

A relief pitcher is awarded a save when he meets all three of the following conditions:
He is the finishing pitcher in a game won by his club;
He is not the winning pitcher; and
He qualifies under one of the following conditions:
1)He enters the game with a lead of no more than three runs and pitches for at least one inning; or
2)He enters the game with the potential tying run either on base, at bat, or on deck; or
3)He pitches effectively for at least three innings.
2 Outs, no runners on, no save for Jenks. Unfortunate, I would have liked one, too.
