on "baseball tonight" they said that sheff is okay, but will probably miss at least the whole bosox series...

great, now i have a starting outfield of ichiro, ibanez, and had to move willingham to OF since griffey's still out. this week doesn't look good for me.

Maybe he'll get a steal or two after this little rest period.

What would you do?

How can I not play SHeffield vs Boston (but with Baseball tonight saying he may miss the series). Would I be better off taking a chance on Sheffield or should I play Josh Willingham this week?

this is a little late, but play willingham over sheffield...i'm in the same situation. i picked up lofton for today and hope sheff (or griffey) is back in the lineup tomorrow...

As of now, Sheff's still not in the line-up for tonights game (@TB). Damn ... this is the series I was hoping on him putting up some nice numbers :,-(

fortunately i have chad tracy as a backup and although he was either 1/4 or 1/5 last night (i forget which), he did hit a grand slam so the 4 rbis' help. so im playing my backup, tracy, actually until i see shef starting, so i may miss his first game back, but im assured of having someone (tracy) playing for stats, provided he is in the lineup of course. anyway i hope shef is back healthy asap.
