I hope he continues to hit 4th. That's a pretty good spot for him IMO. Go Reyes, Beltran, Delgado, Wright... LoDuca is useless.

3 of his 6 steals have come off Piazza. You got to be careful about extrapolating early season numbers.

While I think he'll improve on his numbers from last year (1 more year, maturity, better lineup etc...) let's not start exploding just yet. I think this is a little more realistic...

yep. this is the one that's correct. hrs in the low 30s, not mid, SB in the low to mid 20s, sub .320 avg. still a 1st rounder.

mak, he's CAPABLE of 4-5 SBs EVERY SINGLE MONTH rest of the way, but he probably won't. and like bleach said, 3 SBs were off piazza.

I think David Wright is outstanding - top 5 keeper in my mind. I watched some at bats from him last week and was so impressed. The only downer is the park he plays in, but his other stats make up for that.

His HRs have slowed down until recently. Looks like he is back on pace to hit 30.

I also suspect that if the Mets continue to do well, he should get a shot of 'pennant fever' on top of the other good things. Unless he gets an attack of 'bench the franchise player' or something horrible like that...
