He's definitely a first rounder, I think in a keeper it'd go like this:
Pujols
ARod
Vlad
Tex
Ortiz
Manny
Wright
Bay
Manny over Wright may even be questionable at this point. A
.320
110 R
34 HR
110 RBI
21 SB
season is likely.

I don't know where you get the idea he could steal close to 30.
The guy seems quite capable of 110/33/110/20/.315 in that park and lineup.
You don't think he's capable of 4 or 5 SB's per month from here on out? I'm not saying he'll get to 30, but it's not an outlandish projection.
3 of his 6 steals have come off Piazza. You got to be careful about extrapolating early season numbers.

Last year: .306 27HR 102RBI 99R 17SB
Currently: .329 5HR 18RBI 16R 6SB
A projection just made: .322, 35 HRs, 120 Runs, 114 RBIs, 28 SBs.
While I think he'll improve on his numbers from last year (1 more year, maturity, better lineup etc...) let's not start exploding just yet. I think this is a little more realistic...
Somewhere between:
.306 - .320 AVG
27-35 HR
102 RBI - 125 RBI
About 110 Runs
About 20 Bags.
He's a fantasy stud. I watch him all the time around here and he's going to end up being a perennial early first round pick, and the clear #2 3B.

David Wright will soon be Pujols-Lite. But eventually he will be the 3rd pick overall.
The Mets will win the World Series this year.

yep. this is the one that's correct. hrs in the low 30s, not mid, SB in the low to mid 20s, sub .320 avg. still a 1st rounder.
mak, he's CAPABLE of 4-5 SBs EVERY SINGLE MONTH rest of the way, but he probably won't. and like bleach said, 3 SBs were off piazza.

His HRs have slowed down until recently. Looks like he is back on pace to hit 30.
He had a monster second half in 05 so it's encouraging to see he is continuing to progress.

Forget #2--he's the #1 keeper in FLB, especially in keeper leagues.

Nice work on the title.
I love him too. I had to trade him though to get out of the basement
I'm too lazy to make a sig at the moment
