Can't they make a special exception in order to rid the country of one more pothead?
I'd say the tradeoff is worth it.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

man why the nfl hatin on ricky???
Um, because he uses narcotics. Where you been Miner?
YES! DO IT! Do you realize the revenue this dude would bring to the league????
I don't know much about the CFL, but if they either don't care about image, or can take a hit in image, then Ricky's a great addition. He'll help out the team, no doubt, but should bring another audience to the CFL too. I know I'd keep up on how he's doing.
He should play arena ball. He would be the best in the league, regardless of the position he plays.

Do you have a link to that? I'm really not sure how the NFL can restrict him from playing in another league, it would have to be the Dolphins that do this.

Looks like you're right, but the original news from cbs wasn't very clear

However, the Miami Herald reports that while under suspension, Williams cannot play for any other league, which was confirmed by the Dolphins.
To update this thread, Ricky did in fact end up signing with the Argos for somewhere close to $250,000. This could actually be the biggest "name" signing by a Toronto team since Roger Clemens way back in '96. I for one, may go out to more games this season, and maybe I'll even buy my first Argos jersey (with Williams on the back of course ).
