Bad news for Patterson owners. Especially since I just traded for him.

Any body know what exactly the injury is and how serious it could be?

Is it just a 15 and done, or will this extend further?

I'm not happy now with Lowry and Patterson on the DL.

I don't know how serious it is, but forearm cant be good.

I dont think its anything to sweat long term. Its retroactive to the 22nd.

Frank said its no big deal they just rather give him the 2 weeks off now to get him healthy for the rest of the year, rather than push it April & lose him for a month of more in June.

Doesn't "forearm" usually mean "elbow" though?

He'll be fine. I think being extra cautious this early season is good. The other good thing is that 28 of the Nats first 42 games are on the road. That means more home starts for Patterson, which means not having to worry about the long ball. :-D

I've got both of them as well, although Lowry has made some rehab starts and looked good so he should be back soon.

Big blow to my keeper team (20 team auction)

I think it forces me to start Silva or Fossum :-o since its a weekly lineup!

I've lost so many bids on the FAs I want too... not good.
