WGN just annouced the Chicago Cubs just traded for Kenny Lofton and Arasmis Ramirez for Jose Hernadez, Matt Bruback, and a player to be named later.

sigh... from Colorado to Chicago and now to Pittsburgh. I wish I wasn't stuck with this guy. Well, at least he'll probably get more playing time. If Giles goes, though, it's looking like Cleveland.

Ahhhhh!!!!

As a Pirates fan I must say this deal sucks. Ramirez is the only good young Pirates hitter.... He pulled his average up to .283, leads the team in RBIs ... And in his place we get the Strikeout Machine and a minor league pitcher?? Grr.

u cant get top prospect for ramirez cuz he makes a ton of errors and been up and down the whole season

its got to help it, he's now playing for the league's best manager.
plus there is enthusism in chicago to win, he had no incentive in Pitt
