Moises Alou Projections ?

Postby YardBirds » Sat Apr 29, 2006 1:27 am

When l was working on a pre draft plan... l knew l could take him as a soild 3rd OF... with a decent back up on his few days off.

l have him projected at 90 / 30 / 110 .320 b/c of Bonds being back in the lineup, and my league laughed. They aren't laughing now, he is getting less days off and is tearing the cover off the ball like Alou of old.

What do you guys think... am l crazy for thinking Alou will jump back to his '04 stats.

Thanks, just doing my part to get the word out... Belle needs to be in the Hall... 50 HRs... 50 doubles...in the same year come on.

l do like Bonds being back in the lineup... mucho protection and most always someone on base... that and Winn/Vizquel are great lead off guys.

I'm gonna guess 25/100/80 runs/285 average. REal good numbers for a guy who wasn't even drafted in my 12 team league.

I'm shocked (and encouraged) that no nay-sayers predicted an injury for Moises.

I like him to hit around .300, 28-32 HRs, 100+ RBIs. I wish I hadn't benched him this week.

So you don't think he corked his bats even after they sawed open one of his bats and found cork inside of it?

its a conspiracy...

l've heard the stories, the one about a MR sneaking through the AC duct to get a bat back that was taken by the umps to be tested... l think its all B.S.

He may have used one in BP, and then inadvertently taken it to bat once or twice, but no way he intended to use a corked bat in a game situation.
