I read this afternoon that Street might be available tonight...but that wasn't the case. Maybe he'll pitch this weekend.

Street has been medically cleared but they're easing him back in. Rotowire speculated that Street might not close for an appearance or two as well.

Street pitched today in the seventh inning. heres the line:
1 IP, 0 H, 0 BB 1 K. NO SAVE! but with stats like that the saves will come. I am optimistic

Agree. Street's back. As long as he's healthy, he's a lock for 30+ saves.

May 3 Huston Street (P) Oak felt no ill effects after his first outing since April 18 Tuesday, according to the AP. However, the A's aren't sure they are willing to let him pitch the ninth or on back-to-back days yet. The A's will most likely use Justin Duchscherer as their closer until they feel Street is ready.
