ESPN: Wright's groin injury is impacting him both at the plate - since batting .429 on April 16, he is 7-for-37, which has dropped his average to .316 - and in the field, as he lacks some of the lateral movement and quickness needed for the position.

anyone concerned about this? true, his BA has gone down and he hasn't homered for a while, but he does have 5 SBs since the 16th. the injusy can't be all that bad if he's running wild. any thoughts?

anytime you hear groin and athlete, it's not good. maybe it is just a slump though despite ESPN's take on it...as noted in the blurb.

he hit one out today...does that ease the concern?
