Few things to note,
#1 I recall last season trying to buy him low from someone because he's a slow starter...we're still in April, calm down (he also has some plate discipline issues, as most D-rays do if I recall correctly)
#2 The surrounding lineup has been missing Huff and Lugo for quite a while now, they're now missing Cantu - if you go with the surrounding lineup dictates how you pitch to someone theory...well, not a whole bunch of protection
#3 I'm sure as previously stated he still has that nagging injury contributing to some degree...

Somebody has been trying to do the same to me over and over...they've offered Edmonds and Hunter to me.
He's one of the top fantasy guys you can have. Don't lose confidence in him this early...and definitely don't allow anybody to buy him low from you. You'll look like a chump by the end of the year.
I was about to post the same type question and saw this post.. As we head into May I too am a little concerned here.. Crawford is capable of his 15+ HR, 75+ RBI, 50+ SB type season like he's done in the past.. But I do not see that this year, he said he's being more catious on the basepaths and I think is still hampered with minor injuries that will effect his production.. I would not be surprised to see a 10 HR, 55 RBI, 25-35 SB type ho hum season.. As we head into May he has a horrible batting ave, No HR's and 9 RBI's with 5 SB's.. I hope the god he heats up soon..

I'm shopping him around in my league. I'm trying to get someone like Lance Berkman because the hitting stats are R, H, HR, RBI, SB, BB, TB, and AVG. So I want to get someone that can produce in almost all the categories, and not just a couple.
What do you guys expect him to do. Hit .300 the entire year, and steal exactly 3 bags a week? Come on. He'll be fine, we still have 19 or so weeks left. I'm sure he'll get hot here, and start putting up some numbers.
Like I said, give him time - he's the kind of guy that you think is having a horrible year and then one day mid season you look at his stats and say....wow, and here I thought he was doing bad. If you have to do anything, bench him for someone going on a tear...
