Postby adraw34 » Tue Jul 22, 2003 4:30 pm

could this be the start of Chavez's Monster 2nd half?
He's 3-5 today with a home run, 3 rbi's and 2 runs.

I sure hope so...been waiting for him to heat back up for awhile now, after his little streak a couple months ago. :-)

I think Chavez, Tejada, and Durazo are all waking up. Anyone who says the A's wont make the playoffs and arent a good team simply dont know baseball.

let's hope chavez is starting to produce like the 2nd-half stud he is....haven't seen any a's games lately so i can't get a feel for chavez' "plate presence" and whether his hand/shoulder are still bothering him.

I don't have Chavez...but I do have Harden and Mulder both...So I hope this is the turning point for Chavez...(at least when they pitch... :-) )
