Anyone NOT dropping Rodney?

Postby DannyG » Thu Apr 27, 2006 10:04 pm

Anyone think he'll get the Closing job back soon

I'm about to accept a trade in which I get Hunter/X.Nady for AJ Burnett, and then I am going to drop F.Rodney.

Please give me advice!

This is probably the wrong forum, but unless you're in a super deep league or your league counts holds, its safe to drop him.

i've still got him. he's pitching so well, if todd jones slips up, i don't think they will hesitate to use him in the clutch.

I'd have kept him if I had room on my roster, but I need saves, so I dropped him when Benitez was activated off the DL. Keep him if you can afford to, because he's definitely a great pitcher.

I'm keeping him for sure. Holds count in my league, so he's still pretty valuable. I also agree that he's likely to get the closer job back.

i've dropped him in two leagues but holding him in another...it just depends on the alternatives available and if you need that spot.

I still don't trust T.Jones though.

I wouldn't drop him unless you needed the roster space.

That said I've dropped him in almost every league for Otsuka...a guy who's closing even for 5 days is more valuable than a guy that's not closing at the moment.
