Hey guys--I'm stuck surfing the FBC instead of writing a big English paper due tomorrow. I was just wondering..Do an of you guys have any knowledge about the book Catch 22 by Joseph Heller, and its racial implications? That's my assignment, how to explain the main character Yossarian is a victim of racial tensions.
If you havent read it/remember little, just dont respond. I put it in the FBC because there is probably someone who knows something in here...we have experts on a lot of things.
Boy that's a good one. Unfortunately, I have not read it since I was in high school in 1984 or thereabouts so I don't remember the specifics. It is funny as hell though, even if you fudge your way through the paper, you should read it. The movie is pretty entertaining as a potential shortcut and, perhaps, you might follow along in the book to crib quotes? I was a big reading geek though and was never forced to do that. Just think what would happen if you tried to skate around your fantasy draft like that...
Yes, I was, uh... I was thinking about ordering the tape, the videotape... about the college girls and the... the wild... the wildness. They're going wild or something? Somebody told me... about going wild.
