are you thinking that he's a Prior type (dominant w/injuries)...except that he plays in a launching pad?

In his limited career, he doesn't give up many HRs. If he stayed healthy, he would have been the top pitching prospect in all of baseball this year. Of course that is a HUGE if but looks like the Phillies may have to fast track him to the bigs before he hurts himself again.

I just used it on Guzman..but Hamels bears monitoring...
hamels has been the Phillies top prospect fro awhile. good comman, movement on a 90+ fastball. Awesome changeup is the number one pitch. His curve ball has been developing and it looks great this year.

I'm waiting to use mine on Brandon Wood. Cole Hamels? Eh. Look, take it from a Philly fan: not this year.

He went 7 innings with 3 hits, no walks and 14 Ks in his first ever outing at AAA. What more can you expect from a prospect?
With the way Phillies rotation is currently, if he keeps healthy enough to keep this up for a couple months, why wouldn't they bring him up to help them?
