Actually he came from a more hitter friendly park in the AL

I don't know how you figure that. If you did your homework you'd know that more runs were scored in the Great American Ball Park than any other ball park last year.

That probably has something to do with the Reds pitching staff. B-)

If you look at the stats there over time you'll see the park is close to neutral.

(100 is average)

Batting/Pitching

'03 100/100
'04 92/93
'05 106/105

I did a little research on GA, it really depends how the weather is. If they play more home games later in the year, or play in more hot and humid conditions early in the year it's more of a hitters park.

The word on him is that he's designed his whole career on making you look like a fool and p*ssing you off. He meant to tank those other years. :-b :-D

Yeah, I saw him. He couldn't stop laughing about what a chump he was playing D-Store for. He was really cold about it. Not even kidding or anything. Jerk.

All kidding aside, I've had a chance to watch Arroyo a lot over the last few years. When he is on, he can get anyone out. He's pitched some gems for Boston. He's very streaky. When he has a bad outing, I think he has a difficult time getting it out of his mind... and the same thing for a good outing.

And you'll notice, when he is doiing good he has this smirk on his face constantly. I'm not even sure if he realizes he does that. I used to think it kind of rubbed what he was doing in the batters face... but maybe I was reading into it too much.
