I'm disputing that answer as being correct. The temperature was 38 degrees.

Wright defeated the Marlins' Tony Saunders in the first World Series battle between rookie starters in 14 years on a night when the temperature was 38 degrees and snow flurries fell throughout the game. Cold temperatures are expected again when the best-of-seven series continues Thursday night at Jacobs Field. The temperature was the coldest for a Fall Classic game since baseball began recording the figure in 1975. The lowest previous temperature was 41 degrees for Game One of the 1979 series between Baltimore and Pittsburgh.
