According to rotoworld & other sources....
He threw his bat into the chest of the ump after being ejected for arguing a 3rd strike call.....
Dope.
After being ejected following a called strike three and an argument, Triple-A Durham's Delmon Young threw a bat into the chest of the home plate umpire in Wednesday night's game.
If this was as bad as it sounds, Young should be facing a long-term suspension. It's a shame to see such behavior from the player universally recognized as baseball's best prospect. Apr. 26 - 8:48 pm et

For what? 1 AB?
Sounds like he's an immature, spoiled kid to me.

If its like it sounds, he's gonna be sitting a LONG TIME.... Plus, it doesn't exactly endear you with the umps. Lots or guys argue calls, but things like this, it can expand your strike zone for a LONG TIME too.

At least it was in the minors, if he did that in the majors his strike zone for the umps would GREATLY expand and there would be a LOT of controversial calls. K/BB ratio wouldn't be nice to look at either.
Any1 have video btw?
Sean Tracey has my apologies, we all know Ozzie Guillen is an idiot. I'm rooting for you!
