He did the same thing last season, got called up due to an injury threw a 2 hitter had people raving then got shelled the next time out. I'd wait before getting too excited about the guy.

Much rather see Homer Bailey start. Ramirez is nothing but a spot starter.

His one loss was to Houston where he gave up 3 runs on the strength of 2 HR's but for the most part was really good.

He isn't any kind of long term pitching prospect for the Reds but like was mentioned before is a spot starter who can fill in due to injury.
