Billingsley

Postby Zito is God » Wed Apr 26, 2006 8:33 pm

So I was looking at the stats and it seems Cain's minors stats were much better then BHillingsley's.

I just recieved Billingsley for Griffey in my dynasty and was wondering if the deal was as solid as I first thought?

Sean Tracey has my apologies, we all know Ozzie Guillen is an idiot. I'm rooting for you!

i don't know which stats you were looking at, but billingsley's stats are much better than cain's...at least in AAA. even in AA (i don't know cain's AA stats), billingsley was a stud. cain's AAA era was over 4, but the PCL is a tough league to pitch in. billingsley's 1.5 in AAA is amazing...

i have the rights to billingsley in my league so obviously i think you'll be fine with him...

Both of their stats are debatable and as most know I like Billingsley more. But anyways getting the top pitching prospect in the minors for an injured and aging hitter is always a good thing IMO.

May 4 Odalis Perez (P) LAD, who will miss Sunday's start to be with his ailing mother in the Dominican Republic, might be moved to the bullpen when he returns, according to the L.A. Times. "I'm not afraid of anything we do that we think will make us better," Little said. Perez gave up a 6-0 lead in his last start and holds a 6.90 ERA on the year. The team will likely recall Chad Billingsley or Aaron Sele from Triple-A to make the start Sunday.

according to rototimes:

"May 4: The Dodgers could call up top prospect Chad Billingsley to start Sunday's game against the Brewers in place of Odalis Perez, according to the L.A. Times. Billingsly has a 2.04 ERA for Triple-A Las Vegas."

billingsley threw 91 pitches last night in a no decision...gave up 3 runs in 7 innings. can he pitch on three days rest?

Dodgers purchased the contract of RHP Aaron Sele from Triple-A Las Vegas.

No Billingsley for awhile...

billingsley was shelled in his start tonight against memphis:

1.1IP/6H/6ER/3K...nothing to fret over...hopefully just a bad outing. no HR in any of those hits, though...

we'll still see him in LA later this summer, IMO.

PCL- Las Vegas...

Don't let one start in a hitters league affect your opinion or the masses opinion that hes a top pitching prospect.
