Now that Griffey is scheduled to be back on Friday, what does this due to the Reds lineup? Will Phillips keep his job? He's filling in nicely for me while Weeks works through his issues. I wish the Reds would just move Dunn to first, leave Freel in the OF and Phillips at 2nd. It would be nice to see them have the same lineup for more than 2 days. Anyway, any thoughts on how the return of Griffey will shape playing time?

I think the best move for them to make would be to bench Aurilia and put Dunn back at first...Then put Freel in LF and Griffey can come back and play CF.

or they should just trade Griffey to an AL team who could use a DH for a quality starting pitcher

Dump Griffey to the AL. Absolutely.... Perhaps the Red Sox might be calling?

Didn't mean to infer he supplant Poppi at DH! Just that Sox lacking OF depth, and sure Poppi still can play 1st depending on future team injuries/ needs. Sox have lots of $$ why not buy Griffey. Losing Damon hurt that offense! But I'm not complaining, I hate the Red Sox. Peace.
