upton now has 13 erros on the season, most of which are throwing errors on routine plays. I think he is a head case. The drays would like him to move to first at the moment, but upton still says he wont move. I think he might want to think about a move, problem is the drays have a 1B of the future in wes bankston, so they may be looking to shop him around if they get him to move to 1st or OF.

I think 1B is the last position that the Devil Rays would want him to play.

I've never heard any talk of that, cause it doesn't make any sense. You just make him into a prospect w/ a bat then, which is about the worst thing you could do. He would easily be moved to OF/3B and I don't see how there would be any talk of 1B.

I agree. HIs offense is wasted at first. If he is moved it will be to third (though this might not solve the problem) or the outfield.

from whom?? I have not heard anything like that at all in Durham nor have I heard a Maddon quote mentioning anything resembling that. I think if he is moved, he will go to CF and then Baldelli will be traded this offseason for either some pitching or a SS since Brignac is still a few years away from the bigs.
