What is the deal with Chad Billingsley

Is he not one of the best SP prospects other than Liriano Verlander an Felix now. With the other 3 already being in the majors. But one guy in my league who is after Verlander really hard went on to trash Billingsley an to trade him asap. Then he was like he isn't going to be a SP an he might be Gagnes replacement in 2 years. He says he doesn't want Billingsley but why trash him then what's the deal ?

Billinglsey is doing fine. He needs to work on his control issues but he has the talent to be a top of the rotation guy.

With LA needing quality starters, he might be called up if he keeps it up.

He's doing well, 25 k and 9 BB in 20 innings so far this year. sub 2.5 ERA so he could be a callup later in the year but I have a feeling the Dodgers are just waiting to see how their year is lining up.

Billingsley is arguably the best pitching prospect in the minors right now.

Billingsley shows a lot of similarities to Kerry Wood(who I despise and think is extremely overrated.) Let's hope he doesn't end up the same way Wood did, being either injured or extremely inconsistent every other year because just like Wood did, Billingsley has lots of potential.

i never heard anything on him becoming a closer, another hot prospect, who is in the same category as Verlander & Cain, dont worry his time will come,

The guy in your league is pretty mistaken about Billingsley and his future role. The only possible rational explanation is that for some reason he is thinking of Broxton, who is a Dodger that was turned into a RP last year. If he isn't mistaking the two, well then he just has no clue what he is talking about.
