What was the rumor that D-Train was leaving for New York? And who would the marlins be getting?

And there is no chance of it happening.

Absolutely no chance...
The Mets would be idiots to make that trade. Wright is the type of guy you build a franchise around... A great player, a great locker room guy, a 5 tool player...
Basically I'm complicated.
I have a hard time taking the easy way
I wouldn't call it schizophrenia
But Ill be at least two people today
If that's OK
And I can go on, and on, and on...
But who cares?

It really doesn't make sense from either team's perspective.
"I don't buy everything I read,
I havn't even read everything I've bought"
"I find it more comforting to believe that this [life] isn't simply a test."

It makes sense, if the Mets are trying to win a World Series this year. They don't have the pitching staff to win it all this year , you add Willis into the mix and it greatly improves their chances despite losing Wright. They have enough offense weapons to carry them especially if Beltran is healthy.
I'm not advocating a trade for the Mets, its just another way to look at this rumored trade.
