I expect he'll go on the DL of course because he started really well and had to get in another freak accident.
According to the Rototimes
Carlos Beltran
Carlos Beltran is expected to miss the entire three-game series against the Giants, according to the New York Daily News. A decision will be made by the Mets on Friday as to whether Beltran will go on the disabled list. He's been dealing with a hamstring injury since April 15.
I'm too lazy to make a sig at the moment

This guy is becoming the Mets high-priced version of Ron-DL.
I did not understand the pre-season ranking being as high as it was for him and I still do not.

Well he has good stats so far and he hasn't played in 2 weeks...
I think he'll be good... They need to DL him and let him heal

Based on what i've read I think he'll probably avoid the disabled list, and most likefully play for the Atlanta series.

Okay, you definitely aren't paying attention to the numbers which is what counts. Beltran is definitely playing well this season. No one can predict injuries and there's no reason to think he'll be worse when he comes back.

Who says I can't be a Yankees and Mets fan???

If Beltran is not 100% because fo his legs, he will not steal as much. If he does not steal, his value plummets. He used the playing with an injury excuse (which was largely his leg last season before he ran into Cameron) as the reason he stunk up the joint in 2005 too.
