He's had HR's in 2 games in a row and and hits in 5 of the last 6. Is he worth picking up? Or is this just a quick hot streak that will soon die out?

Depends on who you have to drop... He was very streaky last year, but that doesn't mean you can't catch some of that streak. Also, he is on a better offensive team now. Maybe he will be more dependable this year. Now that he is hitting is a good time to pick him up... if you have someone worth dropping for him.

I'm debating dropping Jenkins or Langerhans to pick him up. Mind you this is a 16 team league with 4 starting OF and a Utility spot. Pickings are slim.

I think I'd drop Langerhans for him, assuming you can afford to lose the LF position that Langerhans has.

i have a problem with his sub .250 avg which will only get worse changing leagues. hes a bigtime avg killer on fantasy teams. not worth it.

Agreed, he'll kill you on average.... He's streaky and the streaks don't last long. Expect more homers this year, but a lower avg... The Dome turf gives players a few extra hits.
