i like him alot for the entire year. he'll hit about 30 hrs and around 280 with that protection hitting behind him.

Already been a couple of threads on Swisher.

I don't think he is this good, but he should still have a good year. He is very streaky, keep that in mind.

He's on a hot streak, he's not for "real". However he's not going to go back to hitting .230 or whatever he hit last year either. He'll put up solid numbers for a deep league and borderline numbers for a shallow league.

I just picked him up in a small league to fill in hor Helton while he's on the DL. I'm hoping to ride the hot streak untill Helton is better!

Too much love for Swisher I think right now. He's not .320 hitter or a 40Hr hitter. He might be a .280-.300 with good power if things keep going his way though.

It's important to bear in mind that, while he's certainly not this good of a hitter, his .240 BA last year was in part due to some attrocious BABIP luck. With even an average BABIP, he's up to .265.

For this year, I say he finishes around .270 with 33 HRs and strong periferals. Note that this does imply a pretty substantial drop in production, especially BA.
