He may be.. Ozzie has a very short leash with his RP's..I put McCarthy in my starting lineup instead of David Weathers this week.. Mistake? Here is an interesting stat I just saw...

Chicago intentionally walked Jeremy Reed in front of Betancourt even though Reed was 2-for-16 in the past week. Betancourt was 7-for-18 during the same span.

cus just a few days ago Ozzie was calling him his MVP ...

Not only has the right-hander showed his manager that he could successfully make the transition from starter to reliever, but he's dominated. - W. Bloomquist ran for C. Everett
- W. Bloomquist stole second
- Trü flied out to center
- J. Reed intentionally walked
- Y. Betancourt singled to left, W. Bloomquist scored, J. Reed to second

I'd rather pitch to Bettancourt too ..

the kid just got lucky .. thats all

Sometimes people need to not jump to conclusions and just sit back and think. I mea McCarthy gives up 1 run and suddenly he's outed, come on. :-t

I was upset the second he was intentionally walking him. Reed was 0-4 with something like .217 on the season. How much is a force-out situation worth?

True.. I just saw this stat on that..
