One other aspect of someone in a pennant race? Willing to pay huge chunks of cash to make it all come together this year.

Just imagine...Shilling, Clemens, and Beckett in the postseason.

This shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone I hope? I have Clemens on my bench and I had figured he wouldn't pitch until the All-Star break.
