He went on a streak similar to this early last year also. I have him but am still a little skeptical of 30HR 100RBI.

I know he's streaky looking at his last couple years, however it would not surprise me to see him reach the 30+, 100+ mark this year because of the people hitting in front of him.. Young,Teix,Nevin and Blalock are all great to decent OBP type guys and there will be lots of chances for Big Head to drive em in..

Set the record for right handers tonight with 7 straight games with a home run. Major league record is 8, and they were both left handers. Trying to tie the major league record tomorrow! ;-D

I am facing him this week and the moron didn't start him till today. I kid you not and he is an active player. I dodged 4 Mench bullets. :-°

He needs to team up with Michael Jordan on a shoe deal now and bring back the old "It must be the shoe's" phrase in a retro marketing campaign.

Considering the streak he has going on -- you would think pitchers would be extra cautious in how they pitch to him and would consider walking the dude. I'm sure none of them want to become some "Stump the Schwab" factoid trivia answer (who gave up the record-tying eight-straight homer to Kevin Mench??).
