'Course, it's the only 4 he's hit the whole year. I'm correct when I say that he's one of those guys who you should consider "platooning" when he's playing at home, yes?

I plugged him in the day he got his magic shoes, and have enjoyed collecting all 4 of his HRs so far

Mench is one of the streakiest players in baseball....No, I'm not excited at all, nor should anyone else be.

Well I for one am excited. Especially since he is only a fill-in while Beltran figures out his hammy issues.

mench is one of my favorite players, and when he goes on a streak he really goes on a hell of one.
the guy tore up spring training, and i feel is in for a breakout year.
but he can be quite frustrating at times

Mench hits 'em in bunches. He'd make a great 4th of b/c once you see him hit one, you know he's good for a couple more. Now that's he's been on this tear, wait til he goes 0fer a couple games in a row then put him back on the bench til he hits another one.

I've given up trying ride streaky guys off the wire... by the time they get hot enuf to notice, they usually are about to go cold. If you're in the cellar and have some holes, yeah go for it, but if you've got a good all around lineup whether its hot or mildly cold, I say let it ride.

I'm pretty drunk, but I still think I'm right in saying Mench isn't replacing Beltran.
I like Mench, I think he plays in Texas so that only helps, he has the quality potential to be a viable fantasy option in (just about?) any park.
