You have Griffey and Bonds on your fantasy team? That's pretty risky...I admire your courage.

Apr. 26 Reds manager Jerry Narron said he expects Ken Griffey Jr (OF) Cin to be ready to come off the disabled list when eligible on Friday, according to the Cincinnati Post. However, Narron added that he would refrain from starting Griffey several days in a row right away. "He wants to play every day, I know that," said Narron. "I've just got to make sure I've got some built-in days off for him. He may not like that, but we want him to be on the field and be available."

got bonds, drew, and griffey. THE most brittle OF possible, but they were all too good of a price to let drop

How much do you think he will produce for the rest of the year, i was surprised to see him on the WW, so i picked him up and put him in one of DL slots. My outfield doesnt really have a place for him because i have Gomes, Crawford, Berkman, and Beltran and Konerko and Hafner in my Util but I could always use some trade bait.

Anyone think he can come close to last years numbers?

Apr 28 Griffey is eligible to come off the disabled list Friday, but he won't be activated after taking batting practice and shagging flies in the outfield earlier in the day. The Reds' center fielder didn't feel an inflamed tendon behind his right knee was back to full strength.
Advice: The Reds have gone 10-4 since Griffey hurt the tendon while chasing a flyball in Chicago. They will be cautious with the 36-year-old veteran, who has been on the DL eight times in his seven seasons with Cincinnati. He hadn't been on the DL since 2004.

even with this time missed? man, i'd be ecstatic if he were anywhere near last year's numbers. having just traded for sheff, i was hoping griff and ichiro would make my OF competitive. w/out griffey, i've had to get by with ibanez...

looks like griffey might come off sometime during the week, but who knows how healthy he'll stay.
