Need help with my fantasy team

This is my current fantasy team.

C - Varitek
1B - Giambi (I know, I know....)
2B - Biggio
3B - Mueller
SS - F. Lopez
LF - Matsui
CF - A. Jones
RF - T. Nixon
Util - Rolen
Util - LaRoche
Util - Furcal
BN - Francoeur
BN - Alou
BN - McCann

SP - Maddux
SP - Penny
RP - Cruz
RP - Shields
P - Lidge
P - Pettite
P - Wheeler
BN - Thomson
BN - Tavarez

A few players I keep moving/adding/dropping/thinking about getting again/cursing myself for getting them again:
Garciaparra
O. Carbrera
Pierzynwski (too streaky for me)


The thing with me is I want a consistent, well-rounded team -- I don't mind having players that don't do well right now when someone else can pick up for them or I know they'll do better towards the end of the season. Let me know which players I should add/drop to make my lineup more complete and where i'm the weakest. Also, if I even have a chance for a decent post-season!

It might help to know how many teams are in your league. If you are in 14-team league, you have a pretty good lineup.

One of the problems is that you have a lot of guys that are past their primes you are relying on (Biggio, Alou, Giambi) and too many unproven young guys (Francouer, LaRoche, McCann-- I'm guessing that you are a Braves fan like me ) for your team to have any consistency.

I know it's going to hurt (being a homer won't help you win championships), but you're going to have to trade your most valuable guy, Andruw Jones for at least 2 quality players that can fill a couple holes on your team, most notably 2B and OF (maybe a deal where you could land Roberts and Carlos Lee or Soriano and Vernon Wells).

Again, unless you are in a very deep league, I find it hard to believe that you don't have some better ww options than those listed. If you do, I'd drop the extra catcher for something you need and get agressive in your trades, and I don't mean guys that were good 5 years ago.

I'm in a 10 team league. Right now, I'm in 6th place and a little below .500 (although this past week, I was at .500).
