I wouldn't waste a waiver pick on him unless you are in a deep league. He has no plate discipline, his MLE was only .300 for BA last year at AA since he was in a hitter favorable situation. He doesn't walk so its unlikely he breaks the starting lineup long term unless someone gets hurt and if he's not playing full time why keep him in the majors?
In deeper leagues he's certainly worth it, but in a default yahoo 12 team league he's most likely a waste of a roster spot.

While I don't want to come out and say he would be worthless, I wouldn't burn a high waiver pick on him. Watch and see what he does first. Angels do seem to have a lot of injury problems so if he hits, he might stay. If not, he's going back down.

If he gets a starting spot, he's certainly worth it. But he's probably not going to be up for that long, so like it has been said, I wouldn't burn a high waiver priority on him. Still, if you've got some WW fodder sitting around on your roster, go ahead and add him on the off chance he stays up and gets good playing time.

Angel's lineup is stacked. Unless theres an injury to someone I dont see him being worth a pickup. He's not even guaranteed a permanent spot on the roster yet
seems that everybody agrees this guy will hgit for average, but does he not just placido polanco, doesn't appear to have much power or SB potential.
not knocking the guy, but I dont see a lot in his stats, something like 2 HRs and 3 SBs in 70ABs in AAA. Lucky to go 10/10 over a full season in majors surely?

Depends on how much his power develops but there are thoughts that might be where he ends up power wise (in the 10-15 range). The fact is though that he is an absoulte hitting machine. Think Vlad without the power. Same kind of guy...if the ball is close he hits it. Not sure what this guy will show in the majors as guys that hit like that without taking walks but without striking out are not that common.
