First season doing this, so I'm making lots of mistakes.
10 team league, I've been sitting in the middle of the pack until the last few days when I dropped to 9th. My offense seems to be holding its own (currently 3rd overall), but my pitching is dead last. I think that's mostly due to a failed gamble with Matt Cain, and slow starts by zambrano and hudson. I also had to fill in Matt Clement for two starts with mixed results while Sheets/Burnett were on the DL. Plus, Boston seems determined to leave Beckett in about two outs too long in each start.
Anyway, I'm weak in Left after a trade and my pitching isn't holding up very well yet. Only real question I have is how long should I be patient with my pitching? We have a ton of categories, too many imo, but there you go. Should I be looking to make a move with pitching, or just ride it out? I've been getting offers for Beckett and everyone and their mother wants A. Jones. Also, with Burnett back on the DL, should I look to move him for another starter? Or drop someone for a waiver pickup? Who to drop??
