In 1945 I played for the Washington Nationals. In my only appearance ever, I pitched 5 and 1/3 innings and gave up one earned run. My era is 1.69, I walked 1 batter, had 2 k's and hit a guy. I faced 20 batters and gave up 3 hits. I have an interesting story to tell for my position.
Who am I?
What is my story?
