My best guess is that Phillips will be the 2B starter 70-80% of the time once Griffey is back. Womack or a catcher is probably odd man out. One of them will be gone soon.[/quote]
That makes perfect sense then. I'm sure that Womack would be able to get at least something for himslf on the trade market even if its just cash, somebody needs a veteran 2B on their team you'd think.

I would much rather see Griffey move to LF so Freel can play CF. He's a better fielder at this point in their careers and has the speed to get to balls Griffey can't. Dunn could move to 1B, he's horrible in the OF. He breaks late, breaks in, allows balls to get over his head, doesn't knock em down, over runs them, doesn't play backup man. That pretty much sums into Dunn being a bad OF. The Reds have plenty of Utility players even after a trade is made. I think McCracken stinks, Womack should be gone (just got designated for assignment on Monday), Aurilla should be gone, they now have Cody Ross and Denorfia to man OF. A Utility combo of Aurillia & Ross/Denorfia should allow Freel to play everyday.

and Griffey & Kearns will find their way to the DL here and there....there's plenty of AB's for everyone.

cbs.sportline reports that Phillips has "nailed down the job."

This is not an add drop question...
but how do you see Phillips comparing to Iguchi...they seem to share similar statistics...which one do you see having the better year?

This is not an answer to your add/drop question, but i'd roll the dice and drop iguchi.

hahah...alrite, i guess it was an add drop question.
But i figured it went with the flow of the thread...I got Utley starting, so I can afford to roll the dice..actually while I am at it...lets throw Barfield and T. Walker into the mix? Which of those 4?
