Do you think he's really over this forearm business? Is this a beginning of the year injury (i.e., small strain as a result of failing to get loose) or could this turn into a nagging and potentially season damaging condition?
Though he claims to be feeling well, last I heard, he will be taking an extra day of rest before his next start. Should I start thinking trade?

The explanation they were giving during the broadcast was that in spring training he was working on getting his cutter to move more, and in doing so, throwing it over and over again fatigued the muscles in his forearm. He should be ok.
I think I've been hearing from the start that they (Jays management) is playing it safe with Halladay at this point, so they have him for the duration of the season.

Saw that too. Kind of bothered me, so I checked it out. He's getting an extra day because Toronto has a day off. Thats all. He would have gotten the extra day even if he didn't have the problem with his forearm. According to the Player's note, he starts on Friday. With the day off for Toronto, and his previous start being last Saturday, this is when he would have started anyway. Not sure why they had to mention that in the players notes like that. Obviously owners were going to jump to conclusions. I thnk they just wanted to get a rise out of us.
