i had modest expectations for this guy and he hasnt even been able to meet them. looks absolutely lost at the plate and lackadaisical in the field. his contract is 3/15 so he isnt going to get cut (he is being called the new tino martinez), but does tony have the stones to put this guy on the bench where he belongs...hell will tony be able bat him in the bottom of the order instead of 2nd nearly every time?

17 games into the season, 1 freaking rbi, .111 with runners on, .053 with runners in scoring position. pathetic. i've been looking for a silver lining but havent been to find one.
