anyone know if he will play at catcher for the Blue Jays this year.

I think he would be lucky to play more than 5 games as catcher. And that's being generous. I think they would use him only if they had no choice. For example, if both of their other catchers got hurt and they had no time to bring someone up from the Minors.
I could be wrong but it sounds to me that the Blue Jays have NO future plans for Phelps as a catcher.

what kind of number do you foresee?
25-30HR - 90to 100rbi - .300ave?

maybe those kind of numbers....if they expand the regular season to 212 games

Phelps hit 15hrs and drove in 58rbi in 74 games, hes 24 and a top hitting prospect i think those numbers are well within his reach.

I agree. The average may be a touch high, but 25 HR and 90--95 rbi is not a stretch. I really think the Jay's offense could surprise this year.
