He is a very consistent batter who hits .300.
I would hold onto him.
Already today he doubled and scored 2 RBIs.
He doesn't disappoint.
I agree, hes very good player. He may not give you great power numbers but he will still hit around .300 with a good ammount of RBIs, in a weak 2B position you could put him in.

Barmes I have trouble with, I have him as a backup in my own league and hes not very impressive. I'd consider trying to get somone whose value is low like Furcal for a pitcher, or Lugo.

i see mueller as a solid player who will be consistent for you all year but not put up great numbers or do anything special, now that helton is going to be out for a little while that hurts you in the offensive department, but your pitching is absolutey insane ;-D ;-D

I have bad luck when it comes to signatures that the person either gets traded or hurt...in this case I hope he gets traded.

Okay, but now I have been offered two trades by another guy in my league.

He is willing to give me Figgins for Dempster. Also, he made another trade for Bay and he would give me Crawford.

Should I take either of those trades, or both, or reject both?

What do you guys think?

My lineup right now with Helton hurt looks like this, but with Helton on the DL, I have room to pick-up another player which I have not done yet:

C: Josh Willingham
1B: Ryan Howard
2B: Bill Mueller
SS: Clint Barmes
3B: Melvin Mora
LF: Jason Bay
CF: Torii Hunter
RF: Craig Wilson
Util: Travis Hafner
DL: Todd Helton
DL: Coco Crisp

SP: Johan Santana
SP: Randy Johnson
SP: Curt Schilling
SP: Dan Haren
SP: Felix Hernandez
RP: Derrick Turnbow
RP: Billy Wagner
RP: Ryan Dempster
RP: Scott Shields
BN: Kevin Millwood
BN: Brad Radke

I don't know what to do with Barmes. I thought he would be doing better than he is doing.

I would trade one of your SPs for a shortstop. You definitely have the fire power to do it. That's the direction I would go. I wouldn't take Crawford for Bay. I think Bay is good for you line up, he keeps you good on the power stats.

help?

Yeah, I didn't care for the Bay and Crawford deal either. What do you all think about me giving up Dempster and getting Figgins?

Is Figgins SS eligible??? If so then yeah...but you'll take a hit in the SV department. But that's only one Category out of many.

He is not eligible at SS. He is eligible at 2B, 3B, LF, CF, RF.

So should I pull the trigger on the Dempster-Figgins deal? I think I will reject the Bay-Crawford deal.

I am going to accept the Dempster-Figgins deal and I guess reject the Bay-Crawford deal.
