The number one thing you have to do is be patient, thats all, A-Rod isnt off to a Pujols type start but at the end of the year their numbers will be similiar, wait til the warmer months when he mashes..Aramis is also off to a slow start but he is one of the best 3B in baseball....you have Clemens stashed away, if he were going to retire he would have announced it by now and be on the golf courses, def. hold on to him...Halladay just came back today and pitched well, hoping he stays healthy he will be a Cy Young candidate. Personally i think you need to lose Dan Johnson and hilldebarand...see if guys like Rios, Church, Barfield, Encarnacion, or even Gonzalez the 1B from San Diego are on the WW, they are all better options than those 2 guys.
I stress patience, you do not have a last place team, wait for your studs to come around and remeber, you cant lose in the first month of the season by your players being cold, but you can lose in the first month by making dumb trades because those players are cold....
Your relief pitching definitly needs some work. Hitting is going to come around, but Barfield is a nice pickup. I have a similar situation as yours-slow starts.
If you want to pick up A.Gonzalez, I would look to dropping Clemens. He's not doing nothing for you but taking up a roster spot. He'd be a great gamble but you're in last place and he's just taking up a spot. Also i'd look to dropping Lieber as well. If you want to pick up RPs, try looking at Rincon, Calero, R.Soriano, Wainwright, D.Sanchez, Coffey, Zumaya....there's plenty of that.
But with that team....Paitence would definitely help a lot!
don`t get frustrated that you`re last in your league because things can turn around pretty quick in fantasy baseball. your team is looking fine. i like nick swisher at 1st, he`s hitting great right now. wait on matsui for a little, cause he`ll get hot soon and then trade him away for another strong RP. and move in R. Winn to one of your OF positions
listen to those guys and get rid of Dan Johnson, as an A's fan it kills me saying this, but he is not a good fantasy player yet, or might never be, if ever gets into that slump again, he sucked bad until he has a 3 hit night againt the angels
