...just heard the announcers say that he has some sort of stomach virus. I hope it's not as serious as Helton's illness. They were saying that several players were sick lately...Eli Marrero, Helton, now Atkins.

This is bad. Its really going around the clubhouse right now.

Players affected by this so far (could be missing some):

Scott Dohmann (went on 15 day DL in ST... back now)
Matt Holliday (missed a game)
Eli Marrero (missed a week)
Todd Helton (hospitalized atm,placed on DL, extent of it not known)
Garrett Atkins (missed tonight so far)

The announcers just said Atkins is feeling better today, and he is listed on the lineup card as a bench option.

I don't think he's at the park though.

Thanks for the update. I like rooting for Atkins...he's one of my keepers in a weekly $ league.
