Pitching Sunday huh? :-)

Should be interesting to see how he does given that the Mets got to Chris Young today, and Petco hasn't really seemed to play like Petco so far this season.

Definitely sounds like someone to keep any eye on. Thanks for the heads up Arlo! ;-D

Well, he picked up the win, but tired in the sixth and was charged with four earned runs. Until then, he had looked pretty sharp. It'll be interesting to see what he can do once he gets his stamina up a bit.

I actually missed the game :-[ , but I did see the box score and game notes. Will try harder to see his next start. :-)

I heard an interview with him on XM on the show with Rob Dibble and Kevin Kennedy. Seems like a pretty solid guy. It sounded like he made the adjustment to the majors without a problem and that he's a team player. Not that that is any sort of indication of how he will perform. Just giving the little info that I have on him.

Looked good until the 6th inning in his last start. Stamina problems again it seems, as he walked the first two batters which got him in trouble. Prior to that, all he gave up was one walk and two hits (one hit was a solo shot to Nomar) in the first 5 innings. Not bad, not bad at all, especially if he can get his stamina up. ;-D

Had to bump this since no one mentioned his complete game two hitter his last time out. ;-D

Yeah, it was the Cubs, but his stamina is what we've been watching, and he did get the complete game. ;-D
