Some encouraging news for Prior Owners:
Prior, who has been sidelined with a strained muscle in his right shoulder, faced hitters for the first time on Friday, throwing 25 pitches in a session in Mesa, Ariz., at the team's extended spring camp, and did well, Cubs pitching coach Larry Rothschild said.
