This injury has been so annoying for everyone involved, the Mets, Beltran and fantasy owners.

I'm gonna keep Beltran on the bench. Its not certain that he is gonna play and if he does i think it would only be as a PH. Also, if he were to start, which i highly doubt he will, there is no telling if he would even be at 100%. I'll take him off my bench after he plays one full game. If he comes back on FIRE his first game back, well thats my loss, but i'll take it.

as for Renteria

Yahoo Sports
Apr 25 The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports Atlanta Braves SS Edgar Renteria (side) has a strained side muscle that is healed enough to play, but Braves manager Bobby Cox said Renteria would return Friday, April 28, in the homestand opener against the New York Mets.

According to Coleman on WFAN Beltran is expected to be in the lineup and Victor Diaz is not in Atlanta but there hasn't been an official statement from the Mets.

Lets hope he feels 100% and this isn't another 4-inning stint that will eliminate the ability to retro DL him...but gotta think he is OK if he'll play, he said he wont come back unless 100%...so we'll see.

Diaz just got called up when Bannister was DLed. Not sure if this says anything about Beltran since he wasn't DLed. But then again you'd expect them to call up a pitcher.
