Did he just leave the game with an injury?

Yeah...he left in the 4th inning with tightness in his troublesome hamstring...i'm watching the game...I checked here on the net..I can't find any news yet...but I know for sure that he left in the 4th..and the announcers are assuming that it's the hammy problem...

LOL. He went on and on about being cautious and not coming back early. I didn't expect him to start tonight, but he did. And, what happens? He reaggravates his hammy?

Actually, there still is no word for sure.

From Yahoo
NEW YORK'S CARLOS BELTRAN LEFT THE GAME IN THE FIFTH INNING DUE TO DISCOMFORT IN HIS RIGHT HAMSTRING.

Anyone know what his current status is? He was able to pinch hit last night after the MRI, so must not be serious.

I'd guess he'll be starting by Tuesday or Wednesday. Just a hunch, though. He's listed as day-to-day.

Don't expect Beltran to miss much more time. He should be a safe start for Week 4.
