Coffey, Miceli or Wood, and why?

I'd appreciate some input here. All are available in my h2h 10 team yahoo league. I have room for one. Which would you pick and why?

I see wood as a wild card who could contribute, miceli as the decent closer on an average or so team and coffey as a potential closer on an average team.

My team is actually ok on starters so I'm leaning toward a reliever.

I'd take Miceli because he is a closer on a decent team. I would say Tampa is better then cincy. If its Kerry Wood your talking about though, I would take him over Miceli because he has the potential to be lights out. Mind you he is like the highest paid player on the team minus D-Lee.

thanks for the response, yes it's kerry wood i was considering

for starting pitching i have johan, c.zambrano, zito, e.santana and escobar

relievers are baez, guardado, macdougal and a.burgos

i definitely need the relief pitching more, but wood may be too hard to pass up and further may be better trade bait later, or if he does well enough i may consider one of my other starters as trade bait

While you do need a reliever more, wood is too good to pass up, grab him, put him on DL, pick up a few saves with miceli, and then watch him dominate batters the rest of the year

thanks for the response, problem is i can't put wood on dl, as i have macdougal there.

as a result i have to choose between wood or miceli. thing is, im in a h2h league so saves are week by week and not cumulative, so i think wood may have more value to me.

I might want miceli instead of ambrous, as the rays are gonna get more save opps. Sure, he has no hold on the job but neither does amrouse, and the royals will be lucky to get 20 save chances all season.

I would drop MacDougal. I dont think he will get the job back from Burgos. He looks pretty darn good.

I agree and that is what I did too, if I have 1 DL spot I will keep MacDougal I mean why not, but if not then I will drop him for either one of them. I don't think A Burgos is all that impressive but so is Macdougal

I agree, drop MacDougal...Burgos has been solid-besides, KC isn't a juggernaut... Then put Wood on the DL, pick up Miceli for a bit.

i'd rather take a flyer on Coffey before he's picked up by someone else. Miceli is horrible and I seriously doubt he will be closing much longer. Orvella should get a chance shortly. Coffey is next in line in Cincy and there is no one standing in his way. Today Miceli might seem like the better option but I think within the next couple of weeks Coffey will be the most popular guy from that group.

Oh, and I think Burgos will keep on closing.
