Scott Kazmir left Thursday night's game against the Red Sox with an apparent left forearm strain.
Kazmir, who allowed just one run before departing, appeared to suffer a muscle strain on a pitch to Mike Lowell with two outs in the sixth. He took a warmup throw and clearly wanted to remain in the game, but the Rays did the smart thing and took him out. If this is anything significant at all, he'll probably go on the disabled list for 15 days. The Rays can't take any chances with their potential ace. Apr. 20 - 8:57 pm et
