Derrek Lee - 1B - CHC - Apr. 20 - 8:21 pm et
X-rays detected two broken bones in Derrek Lee's right wrist, and the first baseman could miss two to three months.
Lee suffered a fracture of the distal radial bone and the distal ulna bones in Wednesday's collision with Rafael Furcal at first base. The Cubs will place him on the disabled list on Friday, but they haven't announced who will replace him. We'd like to see Brandon Sing get a chance, at least as a platoon player against lefties. Todd Walker could see most of the starts at first base, with Jerry Hairston Jr. and Neifi Perez sharing time at second. A trade for someone like Matt Stairs might also be a possibility.
